The Third Edition of the Biblical Creation Resource Story

The primary resource on biblical creation that I developed for my overseas audiences is actually a cell phone application of the Second Edition, because nearly everyone overseas uses their cell phone as their media source. The application is free to anyone but especially aimed at my target audience: young people in overseas regions where resources are scarce about a biblical view. A paperback edition is also available in the US. In either case, the content is designed as a systematic course of study like a school course with classroom format, questions, and exercises.

However, our overseas mission work since 2023 has increasingly trained pastors and church leaders who have time limits to learn material and usually have a grasp of biblical fundamentals. One mission group in particular needed the material condensed to fit into a 16-lesson content-rich book that could be reviewed in a couple of days. I was already holding two-day biblical creation seminars in the Philippines that addressed the more critical material needed by church leaders. After several hundred hours of work, the Third Edition was published overseas in 2025 to meet those requirements. Later in the year, I had a good friend redesign the cover while I tweaked a few words for a US paperback edition. The result is the Third Edition for US readers, but it also provides me a training document for seminars.

I am usually teaching in places where actual fossils and layers of rock are not readily observable. Further, specific exercises and drawings, which have proved very handy in overseas seminars, were not in the Third Edition. As a result, I made a companion -Addendums- booklet (with the same title as the Third Edition) with exercises and color images. Since they are my own, users can copy them with written permission in a variety of venues without further copyright restrictions or the associated costs.
