Roland Beard
Roland Beard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1973. After four years in the US Navy, he spent over 25 years as a technical trends analyst and writer with the US government.
Roland became an avid amateur observer of the heavens in the 1990s, which opened the subject of biblical creation to him in a new way.

The notes became a book to teach and train new observers. A request for a course in biblical creation led to a second resource, whose use in Asia yielded editions and translations that are used by several ministries and nations. Training in sky observing and biblical creation subjects are regular events as he and his wife continue their writing and mission work.
Roland and his wife live in North Carolina in a home called GateWay. He loves observing the heavens and the earth, especially when there is opportunity to encourage others to appreciate what the God of the Bible has made. He continues to engage people to consider a biblical perspective for the world around them, and conducts seminars and training to this end. He and wife have a special passion to help those without biblical resources.
